Each treatment and person is different therefore so are the longevity of results. In general botulinum toxin should last on average 3-4 months and this can increase with consecutive treatments. Dermal filler lasts much longer and in some cases several years depending on the area treated and the thickness of filler used. Other treatments such as skin boosters may require a maintenance treatment yearly.

Avoid alcohol at least 48 hours pre treatment.

Avoid supplements such as fish oil, magnesium & Ibuprofen at least 4-7 days prior as these can cause bruising.

Avoid chemical peels or microneedling 2 weeks prior.

Eat a small snack prior to your appointment.

No international flights or dental work until 2 weeks after filler.

Come to your appointment with no make up if possible.

Avoid touching the treated area for several hours after to prevent infection.

No lying down for 2 hours post anti wrinkle treatments.

No alcohol or strenuous exercise for 48 hours post treatment.

No pursing your lips for several days post lip filler treatment.

You may ice the area with a small ice pack if swelling and bruising are evident. Most commonly with lip filler treatments. However any area is adverse to bruising
